We went to this location back on January 19, 2019. We had excellent service and the food was fantastic!! The grove was also a beautiful location. We will definitely be back as soon as possible!

Concert experience Only I did not consume food.
Stephen & Jo Mersa Marley performed on Atomic Cowboy's outdoor Pavillion stage. I arrived fashionably late so clearly I didn't get a seat (1st come 1st serve & very limited table tops). Plenty of standing room, outdoor & indoor bars available. Note: outdoor bar charged $12 for a can of wine while inside a plastic cup of wine was $8. Same shit different bar. Sound was good, show was great. Service decent.
For the right show I'd return.

Go-to spot for dancing, every time usually have a good experience on a weekend night when they have DJs. Hell there have been times where it was just us there on the dance floor and it was a great time. Because the DJ would enjoy making customers happy and played what his audience wanted.
This was NOT the case on Saturday night, May 26th. We went for dancing around 11PM for a birthday. There were not many people on the dance floor when we first arrived and understandably so. The music was generic backbeat hip-hop/pop. Not impressed. So we suggested a few songs that might have pumped some energy into the dead crowd (or at least get us hopping).
He good-sportingly played the first one for about a minute before he changed it. Then I asked, and mentioned it was a birthday as an extra incentive. NOPE. He spent the next hour playing his shitty music and ruining his night. I didn't realize the job of a DJ is to have a massive ego over his music set and ruining everyone's night for fear of playing someone else's suggestion. This was not DJ Uptown (I checked).
We will be second guessing whether to go back for dancing or not, it'd be nice to just have a DJ that listened and was willing to make those out there listening happy. I thought that was to be expected but apparently not. -

My brother suggested this place for an early dinner among siblings and one 8 year old child. None of us had been to Atomic Cowboy. I looked over the menu and thought the food looks good but hey this says nightclub bar/restaurant. Hmmmm? I really should have further investigated that gut feeling that said maybe this was not the best place to catch up with family. Upon arrival, my gut feeling was confirmed that the establishment is for fun gatherings of loud people well into their adult beverages. LOL! However, the 3 star rating is not due to the venue being a poor choice for catching up.
The 3 star rating is due to the waitress and the waiter that first took care of our beverages forgetting to bring ordered drinks to the table in a timely manner. Although the waitress did not charge my brother for the soda he had to ask for 10 minutes or so after he ordered it.
Now let's break down the food rating, my favorite part. I have nothing but love for the shrimp taco, mexican street corn and pinto beans (my order, loved it). Hubby said his macaroni and cheese was good as was his picadillo beef taco. My brother and brother in law did not love their shrimp burrito and Atomic Cowboy Burger respectively. My brother said the only good thing in the burrito was the shrimp. The rice was without seasoning. He had a side of jalapeno corn bread which did not have a single kernel of corn and was like a dense cake rather than a corn bread. There was a whole discussion at that end of the table about what was making the burger taste strange... i.e. what is the mystery seasoning?
My poor little niece was a trooper. Her only complaint which she was that it was too loud in there and for our purposes I agree 100%. Props to the waitress though for telling us that they will make chicken strips for the little one even though it is not on the menu. Thank you for that! -

This is a laid back, casual bar and restaurant with an emphasis on music. The food is excellent. I'm addicted to their tacos. They have a full bar and specialize in several signature drinks. Their cocktails are carefully crafted and don't come from a bottle. If you want some good music and great food, come here.
